Details:
Learn how to model a range of physics using the software's graphical user interface. In this class you get an overview of COMSOL Multiphysics' capabilities and gain expert insight as you move step-by-step through the modeling process with an instructor. The COMSOL Multiphysics graphical user interface -- from creating a geometry to postprocessing. 3D geometry-selection tools in COMSOL Multiphysics Modeling of heat transfer, electromagnetics, transport phenomena, and structural mechanics. Exercises in 3D heat radiation and interpolation of data from external tables will also be on the schedule. This course is suitable for anyone interested in using COMSOL Multiphysics for the mathematical modeling of physics phenomena such as heat transfer, transport phenomena, fluid dynamics, electromagnetics, photonics, structural mechanics, and acoustics.
Pre-requisites:
We will provide a class notebook, a disk with all examples and exercises presented. No previous experience with COMSOL Multiphysics is required.
